Intense Pulsed Light

Includes and enhanced with LED Light Therapy.

IPL is our most popular treatment is a powerful and highly effective treatment for a variety of skin issues.

Using our advanced technology – Intense Pulse Light skin treatment harnesses the power of light to reverse effects of sun damage, as well as the natural ageing process.

IPL is ideal for treating common skin concerns – especially in Irish People such as broken capillaries and rosacea, offering visible enhancements in skin tone and texture. Through precise targeting of affected areas using controlled light energy pulses, IPL stimulates the body’s own healing process, reducing the visibility of these issues over time, resulting in a smoother and more even skin tone.

Our Process

During treatment, a gel is used to cool down the skin and delivery the intense pulses of light to penetrate the skin, targeting pigmentation irregularities, vascular lesions, and stimulating collagen production.

IPL is suitable for individuals with concerns like sunspots, freckles, redness, and vascular lesions. It can also improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines. However, it may not be ideal for individuals with darker skin tones, as it can cause pigmentation changes.

Patients may experience a mild stinging or snapping sensation during the procedure, often likened to the snap of a rubber band.

IPL typically has minimal downtime. Some individuals may experience temporary redness or mild swelling immediately after the procedure, but this usually subsides within a few hours to a day. Depending on the skin sensitivity.

Results from IPL treatments become noticeable gradually as the skin heals. Improved skin tone, reduced pigmentation irregularities, and a more even complexion are common outcomes. Several sessions may be required for optimal results, and ongoing maintenance treatments may be recommended.

A course of 4 to 6 sessions might be recommended to see better results.
